Founded in 1972, Milam & Co. founder, David Milam had one goal: to offer painting solutions of the highest quality with unparalleled customer service, generating repeat business. For the past two decades the current management team, Anthony Milam and Rick Roe, have worked together building a reputation for honesty and integrity. David Milam, Sr.
Before David started Milam & Co., he learned the finer points of painting and specialty coating through apprentice school and while serving as a foreman for a painting company. From there he served as a superintendent for both Tenneco Oil Company and W.D. Gunnels & Company before founding Milam & Co. Painting in 1969. David formed several businesses throughout the years: Cook & Milam, Service Corp., Foreman & Milam Catastrophe Mgmt, South Coast Construction, Standard Glass Co., and David & Patrick Reproduction. Although we lost our founder in 2016, his beliefs, expectations, and teachings can still be felt throughout the company today.
Anthony Milam
President and Co-Owner of Milam & Co. Painting, Anthony oversees daily operations, manages client relationships, and directs activities in the field. His professional expertise includes painting and construction as well as specialized finishing. Anthony served as a foreman at South Coast Drywall, Inc. and was a painter for a drywall and painting company where he completed his apprenticeship program and joined the Painters Local Union 130. Additionally, Anthony has thirty-eight years of experience supervising field employees and quality control at Milam & Co. Painting.
Rick Roe
Vice President and Co-Owner of Milam & Co. Painting, Rick is the principal estimator. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas. Rick ensures a project success through careful resource scheduling and coordination. A large part of Milam’s success is based on its ability to bid on projects accurately, meet its estimates in time, and costs.
Hunter Milam
Project Manager and Estimator, Hunter is the future of Milam Painting. Hunter graduated from Texas A & M in 2022 with a bachelor’s in business management but started for Milam Painting while still in high school. Hunter has experienced all avenues of Milam Painting employment from helper to painter to estimator and now project management. With his knowledge of how to complete a painting project efficiently and his business skills, Hunter will bring a fresh coat of paint to the company.
Beau Foreman
Project Manager and Estimator, Beau started at Milam Painting in 2019. In such a brief period, Beau has successfully created his own clientele while keeping current clients and projects running efficiently, timely and safely. Beau is also the in-house safety manager completing OSHA 510 giving Milam Painting a double check in safety.
